All about JACK

Today we had a play date with Palmer Sioux. The boys had lots of fun battling for toys, swatting each other and talking away! Surprisingly enough they both managed to get in a 25 minute nap with the 3 or so hours Palmer was over. I got lots of pictures and some video too! I’ll post the video after the weekend! I told Abby we have to do this more often, Arlin learned some sweet moves from Palmer, like getting his knees up under him. I tell ya’ Palmer’s gonna be crawling with the blink of an eye!

Two more pics. from Thursday! I love the top one!!! So cute…Abby’s right, they are turning into little boys, growing so fast! We were talking and came to the conclusion we haven’t been utilizing each other enough to baby sit so each of us can have a day or night away…something every parent needs now and and then! Stay tuned for Arlin and I watching Palmer…May 2nd. I ‘ll make sure and get some great pictures and maybe some video footage with our new video camera!

Aunt Abby baby sat Captain Jack on Thursday afternoon so mama could get her hair done before the big derby bout on Friday. I tried to keep little man awake all morning hoping he’d tucker out for Abby and take a nap while over at her house. But as I text Abby to check in and see how everything was going…Abby replied “you can tell Arlin is sooo tired but he is too fascinated with Palmer to take a nap!” They are so funny together! Thank you Abby…Arlin and I owe you!

On Wednesday I stopped Abby’s to hang out for a few and catch up on talk. While I was there Abby found out her and Kiko close on their new house this Friday! Yay! We are super excited for them!!! Palmer and Arlin are really starting to communicate with one another, they are so fun to watch! As time goes by you can see them turning into little boys!

Arlin and I went over to Abby and Palmer’s for lunch today. The little guys finally saw each other and had some quality playtime. Palmer was holding Arlin’s hand at one point- it was too cute! Abby and I got to catch up on mommy talk, looks like they’ll be moving into their 50’s style ranch home soon! Yay! for the Woefel’s!

I was looking through some of my baby pictures that my mom recently gave me- wow… the similarities are crazy, it’s like looking at pictures of Arlin in the 70’s. If I get time I’ll post a few. Arlin’s into grabbing things lately, he likes his rings. In his hand then in his mouth, he is quite the drool monster these days.
