These pics were from Friday night when Stella got here just in time for dinner. It’s Tuesday now and Pamaw (grandma) is here…and the Captain is having more than a good time showing off for “Pamaw”… we’re definitely testing Mama’s patience!

last Wednesday at a local Mexican restaurant near Sloans Lake the Captain got tangy with a lime. (I think he liked it!)

Geez time is flying. I remember when Arlin Jack was just a tiny little guy in a car seat I could carry everywhere. And he’d sleep all the time. Turning into a toddler! Sometimes we bypass nap time and were getting ready for potty training at home…yikes.

I snapped all these pictures Wednesday afternoon. We’re housebound now, the weather is icky. Some snow, and a lot of rain…and it’s COLD. At least the Captain got to go to the gym with me this morning and play in the kids play area, he likes it there, lots to do with other kids of all ages.

Went to Harvard Gulch park this afternoon after the Captain woke up from his beauty rest. I was able to finish another card while he was napping so I figure we’d get out and enjoy the 65 degree weather, that and it’s so much easier these days to let the Captain loose outside. He’s been getting really honoree (sp?) when cooped up in the house. No joke today after lunch before the park I was washing the dishes and I turned my head for one minute and he climbed up onto his little table and had my orchid/vase off the window ledge…I about had a heart attack and some not so nice words for the Captain….you do NOT touch Mama’s orchid buddy…………….that’s a big NO..NO!

at the Denver Car Show, Saturday…

Papa and I had to finish our Starbucks before we could enter the show…So, we let the Captain explore a little and wear himself out…

Dinner party later Saturday at Alex and Lola’s. This is a picture of the kiddies; Salvador (10 mo.) Audrey (12 mo.) and Arlin Jack (18 mo-in two days!)

Uh OH! The Captain was infatuated with Sal’s quad…Arlin was a terror on this thing- almost knocking over this picture wall! Papa says he needs one….?!

Sal had all kinds of new toys and gadgets for Arlin to admire.

Guess which tot went to sleep first? Yep indeedy…Arlin Jackers. The eldest and first man down…7:30pm! Actually worked out well. We brought Arlin’s pack n’ play so the Captain could sleep when he tuckered out…and Mama and Papa could socialize and enjoy dinner with our friends- so nice!

note the item Captain has perched himself a top…has these things we call “wheels”…

Papa gets to take credit for capturing this adventure. I wouldn’t have let him try this experiment…it’s like standing on a chair with four wheels to hang a picture…it just doesn’t work!

everybody has “off” mornings right?

some mornings the Captain is a champ with the whole hand to mouth routine…

other mornings we use oatmeal as face paint…and this is exactly why we do not get dressed for school till after breakfast, brushing our teeth and hosing our face clean!
