The Captain and the birthday boy Salvador…

I thought he was about to do a belly flop…but nothin’.

Had a blast at Salvador’s 1st Birthday party. There were plenty of kids the Captain’s age for him to cause trouble with. We thought he’d crash in his pack n’ play but NO love, we were home by 7pm with one plum tuckered Captain.

Sunday at Team Woefel’s for a little anniversary celebration. Congrats to Abby and Kiko!

we need to find a new hat for summertime. The Captain was a little red on the forehead yesterday when we got home and that was even after we borrowed some suntan lotion from Abby.

Wow…the weather was so beautiful this weekend! It was so nice to put some shorts on and be in the sunshine…make us all day dream about summertime!

These pictures are from this last Wednesday, we joined everyone at the old historic Castle Marne to celebrate Sofia’s 2nd Birthday (Arlin Jack’s youngest cousin). It was interesting and a challenge to get a picture of the kiddies all together…One was always looking away while the other was smiling ready to go.

Arlin’s new walker from Pamaw and Grandpa Sarge. …he digs this toy! His favorite thing is to open the Peek-a-Boo barn door he laughs everytime like it’s the first time his heard it…so easily amused.

The Pirate Ship cake…thanks for the help Mom- there’s no way I could have pulled it off without you and your research! ingredients; Hershey Bar chocolate/plank top, pretzel squares/port holes/, wafer twist/steer of the ship…and the rest lots and lots of frosting!

It’s going to take Mama some time to resize all of Arlin Jack’s 1st Birthday pictures and post em’. Check out the family gallery that Chad made to see all the pictures- I’ve uploaded most of them there. Arlin’s Birthday went really well… More than I could ask for, Arlin was able to nap right before the party started, putting him in a good mood for the gift un-wrapping and cake! Pamaw was here to help out with everything and I could not have pulled it off without her! The cake/s were a masterpiece by the way- pictures coming stay tuned… P.S….pamaw we miss you already!

Picture above Palmer (on his Birthday Boy chair) were intensely listening to Morgan playing a Neil Young song his guitar…Ha, doesn’t look like these guys are missing any meals!
