All about JACK

Arlin Jack…after a fresh hair cut…realizing he’s one, wearing a short sleeve shirt (not an everyday thing)… two, how strong his muscles are, three, he has Papa’s tool and four the crow took his cookie to the “trash truck!” I wish I was a video camera constantly capturing Arlin’s story telling…it never stops! It’s like the light switch has been turned on upstairs, he’s getting it, totally capable of carrying on conversations with Chad and I…it makes some of the terrible two stuff tolerable

Today while sitting next to me as I drew the fire truck in his “doodle book“. We’ve got counting to ten down but were still working on our colors! Hopefully his not color blind like his Papa

Arlin is counting to four thanks to Feist…We’re working on 1-10 and he’s doing pretty good, but finding songs to sing along with seems to help him…

and how funny is this Elmo (lala)Potty song! Chad and I had Arlin dancing this morning while we all sang along, Chad was on the ground laughing at the last line of the video…SO true, Arlin Jack can stink up the stinker pretty darn good!

Who needs Papa! Ha. Just kidding…but he finally showed me how to upload them from you tube, but I still have no clue how to make them all fancies in i-movie…anyways, look at the lower lip action!!! Video was taken in January- about a week before we moved out.

Technically speaking, this is from both pops!

We were surprised by a box in the mail, from my Dad today, and in it were two cool presents for Arlin; Monster Trucks and Hotwheels.  My husband decided to mess around with the video on his iPhone 3GS (while Captain Jack played with his toys) to see just how easy it was to publish the vids from a different Mac (other than his) and use youtube as the delivery… Seems like maybe we’ll get Papa to give us some more video if its as easy as he claims!

P.S. Mimi; Chad says he’s got about 20 hours of video he’ll be posting for you (but we’ll believe that when we see it)!

We had to immediately take a bath after this episode.

Papa’s genius idea. So simple…a pot and a wooden spoon, & the rest is history!
