just a little!
Master Sarge says Hooo-AH!
He gets a little distracted when it comes to legos…and the minute the camera goes off you better believe I got the best happy birthday song ever, that’s just the way it goes…
Everytime we have a package at the door step Arlin squeals like a little girl (or pig) Uncle Joel! sent me toys! Open Mama! Open Papa!
Thank you Uncle Joel and Uncle Kirk…you guys are still spoiling him even all the way from Denver! He loves it…later that day Arlin pointed out that the toy man on the pirate ship had “art” (tattoos) just like Uncle Joel does on his arms! I was blown away by his observation…and that although we haven’t seen Uncle Joel in quite some time he remembers the little details very well.
We miss you guys. Come visit soon.
but it’s still cute, just turn your computer screen if you can…or your noggin’ that would work to duh (me)…chad shot this with his i-phone yesterday while Mama was cooking dinner.
this video is a couple weeks old…just getting around to uploading a few videos. We had fun in the sun today and took Otis to a nearby football field for some ball chasing. We’re anxiously awaiting Sissy’s arrival tomorrow!
Sorry, been lagging on Jacker’s blog…seem to be lacking that “extra” time lately, Arlin has become quite demanding of my attention in the every waking moment, this boy keeps us busy- always!
Anyways…
Arlin Jack paints his first canvas with Mama in her studio…
not so easy holding my EOS in one hand to snap a pic…:)
Arlin barked the colors out loud he wanted the paint dispenser (Mama) to put on his palette…
Mama: “Arlin, We just did green.”
Arlin: “Ummm…uh, a SPECIAL GREEN! Mom”
Mama: “Oh, o.k. I’ll get you the “special” green color, coming right up!”
Arlin: “Thank you Mama”
(I’m very proud of Arlin’s politeness with thank you and your welcome, I just wish it was a 100% percent of the time…you know, like the times when someone takes “his” shovel at the community toy sharing park!)
how cute are his little munchkin feet on the ladder? (that he decorated with Stella’s bottle cap magnets!)
surprisingly he was patient with this project…he listened and followed instruction well…I’d say he painted for a good 10 minutes, and for Jacker’s (his latest nickname) that’s fantastic.
We’ll be painting more often now, I think I was afraid of the mess, but really he was a champ about the whole process!
Arlin’s new favorite music to jam out to…The Backyardigans episode; Surf’s Up, this kiddo loves to sing & shake it! And of all the cruddy cartoons out there, I really like this one; the music and dancing is hysterical, I caught myself singing right along and doing the moves with Arlin!)
See… the Arseno Hall…OOO…OOO..OOO!!! I love the Peanut…MY….Butter part.
Papa makes a video…this is one of Arlin’s favorite songs, he sings along; boom boom pow…the best snap shot is the underwear in the kitchen with his rain boots on backwards…gotta love it.
Can you tell I’m proud of myself for learning how to upload videos all by myself???
I snuck up to capture this video, before dinner time…there was no training/coaching for him to say “master sarge”…he just does. His little .25 cent army men-one with a broken off leg are still right in line with kitty for being his favorite playmates. And he is still convinced Master Sarge is buying him a race car for Chriss-mas!
